This notice describes how Certified Payroll Bureau handles information collected through this website and in the course of providing certified payroll administration services.

Information a contractor provides to the Bureau under a service engagement is governed by that engagement's written terms. Where those terms and this notice differ, the engagement terms govern.

The inquiry form collects the information a visitor submits, which may include name, company, business email address, telephone number, state, trade, number of active public-works projects, current payroll provider and message content.

Visitors are asked not to submit worker payroll records, Social Security numbers or other sensitive personal information through the website.

Providing certified payroll administration requires processing payroll and project records supplied by the contractor. Those records may include worker names, addresses, identification numbers, classifications, hours, wage rates, deductions and benefit contributions.

This information is processed on the contractor's instruction for the purpose of performing the engaged services. The contractor remains responsible for the lawfulness of the information it provides.

Information is used for the following purposes:

Certified payroll records and supporting documentation are submitted to contracting agencies and government bodies as required by the applicable filing workflow and as directed by the contractor.

Information may be disclosed to service providers engaged to support the Bureau's operations, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations, and where required by law or legal process.

Information is not sold. Information is not disclosed for the marketing purposes of third parties.

Certified payroll records and supporting documentation are retained for the period specified in the engagement terms and for any longer period required by applicable law or by the contracting agency.

Inquiry information submitted through this website is retained for the period necessary to respond and to maintain a record of the inquiry.

Payroll records are processed through controlled access systems. Access is limited to personnel and processes assigned to the contractor's account.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. The Bureau does not represent that its systems are immune to compromise.

This website does not use advertising cookies and does not sell website visitor information.

Where analytics are used to measure website performance, they are limited to operational measurement. This section is to be updated to identify any analytics provider before that provider is enabled.

Where the Bureau processes payroll information on a contractor's instruction, requests from that contractor's workers are directed to the contractor, and the Bureau supports the contractor in responding.
